Brahmasthan, the centre of the house is an important element of ancient Indian Vaastu Shastra. It is the innermost, sanctified and spiritual zone of the house. The Brahmasthana is the kamalanala, the lotus pipe which connects the Mooladhara i.e. Earth to Sahasrara i.e. Space through which the positive energies from the cosmos are showered. The inhabitants can experience well being – physically, mentally and spiritually – only when the Brahmasthan is maintained in perfect order or harmoniously remedied.
Vaastu Nabhi is a Divine Energy Tool that represents the potent energy which is manifest in the cosmos and used frequently in traditional Indian Vaastu Shastra for strengthening the center of the plot and building – the Brahmasthan or Brahmasthala and for removing the Brahmasthana defects and doshas. The Vaastu Nabhi (Brass, Copper or Wood) also known as Vaastu Shanku is inserted into the Brahmasthan itself for nurturing the life force energies present there. Many Vaastu Pundits also insert a Programmed Nabhi into the North East also, to directly link the Divine Energies of the Ishanya (Ishaan) or North East and the life force energies of the Brahmasthan. It is very important that the Vaastu Nabhis should be Energized (Prana Prathista) and Custom-Programmed (Samuka Karana) to the birth data of the user, before installing them. For existing flats, offices and buildings, Energized and Programmed Shreeparni Vaastu Nabhis can be installed (one each in Brahmasthan and North East) above the floor itself – need not be inserted into ground.
Correct alignment of the Vaastu Nabhi initiates the cosmic divine connection along the source directions. By placing correctly physical Vaastu Nabhis (made of Divine Shriparni Wood) that is specifically programmed to that building and activated systematically, the cosmic pranic energy flowing through North East can be greatly enhanced. The Shriparni Vaasthu Nabhis also fix all types of Vaastu defects, Feng Shui problems and Energy blocks in the North East, there by greatly minimizing the malefic effects. This along with a Vaastu Energy Helix Set can usher in Divine Energy forces to enter the building, strengthen the North East and nurture the Brahmastan or Brahmasthala. The combination also smooths out energy friction, clears stagnant energy, dissolves energy blockage and rejuvenates the energy path along golden helix – gains divine strength, blessing and protection to the household. Also, any Vaastu Doshas in North East is cleared.
Traditionally Vastu Nabhis are made of brass, copper and wood. We channel special Vaasthu Nabhis in high quality copper in 3 sizes (1.5″, 2″ & 2.5″ – click here for info) and in Divine Shriparni Wood (5″) also known as Sevan Wood – click here for info. The Product Code for this special product is SPMM-53 and is available in 5″ size. Shriparni Tree (revered as the Kalpavriksha or Karpaga Viruksham of the Kaliyuga) is the Swayambu of Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi thus ensuring permanent presence of Prosperity Energy in the location. Many Vaastu Shastra Pandits recommend ideal placement of an energy instilled and programmed Vaastu Nabhi in both North East and Brahmastan to invite and retain divine forces. Additionally, the Shriparni Vaastu Nabi also enhance money flow and boosts financial growth.
The ancients referred this carefully designed Sacred Geometry Wooden Vaastu Nabhi as the Vaastu Shanku that is famously used in the Shanku Sthapana ceremony. The Vaastu Shanku or Vaastu Nabhi has three sections – the bottom section has a square shape, the middle section is octagonal and the highest one is circular – they correspond to Earth, to the intermediate space and to Heaven, respectively. The Nabhi contains within itself all the three divinities making up the Divine Trinity of the Supreme Godhead, namely Lord Brahma, Lord Maha Vishnu and Lord Shiva. Lord Brahma abides in the lower part (Satwa Brahma Bhaga), Lord Vishnu occupies the middle portion (Raja Vishnu Bhaga) and finally there is Shiva, in the top portion (Tama Rudra Bhaga).
Why is Vaastu Nabhi made of Sacred Shriparni Tree Wood preferable?
Even though Vaastu Nabhis made of brass, copper and wood are being used, Vastu Nabhis made of wood are better. Vaastu Nabhis carved from the Divine Wood : Shriparni Tree Wood is quite special. The Shreeparni Tree (or Sevan Tree) is Sacred and is the Swayambu of the Wealth Gooddess Sri Maha Lakshmi – Laxmiji’s prosperity energy is inherently and permanently present in this divine wood (revered as the Kalpavriksha or Karpaga Viruksham of the Kaliyuga) and hence is very special. So a Divine Energy Tool like a Vaastu Nabhi made of Divine Sevan Wood is doubly auspicious and undoubtedly the best. Thus apart from the usual benefits of a Nabhi the Shreeparni Vaastu Nabhi also brings in an enormous amount of wealth and prosperity energy into the property. It is also said that by nature, the Shriparni Tree Wood removes negative energy caused by Vaastu defects and pollution.
What are the Special Benefits of 12″ Vaastu Brahma Nabhi?
More potent than the regular Vastu Nabhi, this powerful 12″ Vastu Brahma Nabhi is a premier version that comes complete with Five Elements Correction and Eight Direction Energy Correction. This powerful divine cure seeks the assistance of Cosmic Energies to pulverize negative forces and clear blocked pathways paving to a smoother progress. Having great control over the cosmic elements, the Siddha Sigil Yantras built into Vasthu Brahma Nabhi guards against many types of negative energies. The productive mode of the 5 Elements holds the key to effectively balance weak or missing elements in the working space or living space when it goes out of sync, and thus remedying elemental conflicts and imbalances. The 8 Directional Siddha Sigil Yantras are an ultimate cure that serves to generate good energy, subdues bad energy and nourishes the prana shakti of a space so that good fortune continues to grow exponentially. It is also a potent cure for extremely bad situation where other Vaastu Remedies are considered not strong enough to counter a problem.
The large sized 12″ Vaastu Brahma Nabhi is a unique Divine Device that outperforms the regular Vasthu Nabhi through two major benefits :
(1) 8 Directional Energy Correction : The middle portion of the Brahma Nabhi is an octagon with 8 sides. On these eight walls, 8 different Sigil Trains (dense cluster of empowered energy symbols which are Custom Programmed to perform specific functions) pertaining to the 8 Directions of North, South, East, West, North East, South East, North West and South West are engraved. These Sigil Trains are specifically programmed to boost or detoxify and control the energy beams of the respective directions that are received by the flat or building. This balances the overall energy level of the living space or working space and performs Preethi for the Eight Directional Lords called as Ashta Dik Palakas – and delivers many positive results like health, wealth, harmony and happiness. Thus this 12″ Brahma Vaastu Nabhi or Brahma Vaastu Shanku also INCLUDES the full Set of 8 Yantras – Ashta Dig Palaka Yantras.
(2) 5 Elements Correction : The bottom portion of the Brahma Nabhi is a square with 4 sides. On these 4 walls and also at the bottom of the bottom portion, Hyper Sigil Trains (dense cluster of empowered energy symbols which are Custom Programmed to perform specific functions) pertaining to the 5 Elements (Pancha Bhoodas or Pancha Tattwas) – Air (Vaayu), Water (Jala), Fire (Agni), Earth (Prithvi) and Akaash (Space, Sky)- are engraved. These Specialized Symbol Assemblies balance and control the Five Elements systematically and maintain a stable positive energy belt in and around the living and working space. Thus this 12″ Brahma Vaastu Nabhi or Brahma Vaastu Shanku also INCLUDES the full Set of 5 Yantras – Five Elements Yantras or the Yantras for Pancha Bhoothas. These 5 Elements Yantras build an effective countermeasure, by dissipating the energy of an element by channeling its usage to nourish another element. This is the safest way of countering an element because it does not use force against force. It tames the destructive energy by directing it toward a creative or nourishing activity.
These two extra plus points add energy weightage to the full picture and increases the chances of having a healthy, wealthy and prospering business or family.
It is beyond doubt that the Shriparni Sri Brahma Vaastu Nabhi is an essential divine energy tool of great importance and a ‘must have’ for every flat, house, building, office or factory.
Details of Vaastu Nabhi also known as Vaastu Shanku is found in Muhurta Maartanda of Narayan Daivadnya, Vaastu Saukhyam of Maharaja Todarmalla, Rusi Paaraashara, etc.

Also, because of the systematic 3-step empowerment and activation done by us, there is no need for the User to go through any additional pooja or strict rituals or mantra chanting or extra cleanliness.
Brahmasthana, Brahmasthan Defects, Brahmastan Doshas
Brahmasthan, the Centre of the House is an important element of ancient Indian Vaastu Shastra. It is the innermost, sanctified and spiritual zone of the house. All directions meet here at the centre (Brahmasthan) of the house and spread positive energy in all directions of the house, which is very essential for the inhabitants in that house. It is known as the heart of the house, as it is the Umblical Cord or Navel portion of the Vaastu Purush. It is the place of Creator Lord Brahma. Brahmasthan is a very important place for offices, shops, factories and industries. It is extremely important that the Brahmastan be kept open and free from all types of obstacles and objects, to enjoy health and wealth. This is the primary reason why ancestors constructed a courtyard open to sky in the centre – rooms were built only around the courtyard. The Brahmasthan, the centre of each room, centre of the building, centre of each structure is of paramount importance. Brahmasthan principles also apply to all vacant plots as they are applicable to all structures. Thus the Brahmasthan is by all means Marmasthan of the structure, it is also extremely sensitive like the Marmasthan of the human body.
Some of the typical Brahmasthan defects or Brahmasthana doshas are :
(1) Toilets and Bathroom in the Brahmasthan
(2) Kitchen in the Brahmasthan
(3) Staircases in the Brahmasthan
(4) Pillar or Column in Brahmastan
(5) Beam in Brahmastan
(6) Arch in Brahmastan
(7) Wall in Brahmastan
(8) Store room in Brahmastan
(9) Septic tank in Brahmastan
(10) Well or Wash room or Water Founatin in Brahmasthan
(11) Fixture or Furniture in Brahmastan
(12) Machinery in Brahmasthan
(13) Cluttering or garbage collection in Brahmasthana
In case of industrial units, proper care should be taken to ensure that no heavy machineries or heavy objects are placed at the center of the factory. This may result in the production of sub-standard goods, pile up of inventory and rejection of the manufactured goods. In homes and offices, defects in Brahmasthana might result in deterioration of physical and mental health. In flats or apartments above the ground floor, physical Brahmasthan does not exist and might create highly fluctuating fortunes and solid obstacles. It is also advised that in buildings of more than 10 years age, remedial measures be initiated to strengthen the Brahmasthana. The ancient and best known Vaastu Remedy for Brahmasthan defects is the Vaastu Nabhi also known as Vaastu Shanku. The higher end version of this is the Brahma Vaastu Nabhi or Vaastu Brahma Nabhi or Brahma Vaastu Shanku or Vaastu Brahma Shanku. It goes without saying that like all genuine remedies, the Shriparni Vaastu Brahma Nabhi should be systematically Cleansed (Suddhi Karana), Energized (Prana Prathishta) and Programmed (Samuka Karana) to the Birth Data (Karmic Name, Date and Time of Birth) of the User (head of the family or business), without which the energy tool will be ineffective.
The most Auspicious & Divine Shriparni Sri Vaastu Brahma Nabhi SPMM-154 is available in 12″ length with an approximate weight of 1,500 grams. Can be custom made in larger sizes like 18″ too, against confirmed order. Our regular Shriparni Sri Vaastu Nabhi SPMM-53 of 5″ length is also available – click here for more info.

LEGEND : What Ancients say about Vaastu Nabhi or Vaastu Shanku
We often hear the term Shanku in connection with the commencement of the construction work – ‘Shanku Sthapana’ or ‘Installation of Shanku’. In reality, it is the process of laying of the foundation stone. Normally, a stone is selected for this purpose, washed and cleaned. Specific pooja is offered to this stone which is then preserved carefully and is later used in foundation ceremony. Many people refer to this procedure to Shankusthapana. In some regions, there is a practice of worshiping a coconut and burying it in the plot and even this is termed as Shanku Sthapana. However, both these procedures have nothing to do with Shanku which is intended to nullify the harmful electromagnetic radiation emitting from the earth, apart from other benefits. There are in fact several such harmful rays like Hartmann Grid, Currie Grid, Geopathic Stress, Stress Clouds, rays from fissures and underwater lines, etc., some of which affect heights up to 60 floors from the floor level. Thus the Shanku Sthapana during the Ground Breaking Ceremony (also known as Bhoomi Pooja) is a very important step and ignoring it may well deny the Vaastu benefits for an occupant.
As per the ancient texts, there is a detailed procedure for installation of Shanku. The installation of Vaastu Nabhi or Vaastu Shanku is supposed to bring health, happiness and prosperity to the occupants.
A Shanku is made from the dry stem of a specific tree. Different consultants use different tree woods – Khaira, Arjuna, Saala, Yugapatra, Raktachandana, Palaasha, Raktashaalaki, Laalaja, Neem, Karanja, Kuntaja, Venu, Bilava. A piece of energy mature wood measuring about twelve inches in length and a thickness of about four inches is to be made from the stem. It is very important that the energy level of the wood should be highly positive and this should be ascertained by a competent pandit. The total length of this wooden piece is now divided into roughly three equal parts. A skilled and a clean carpenter is required to carryout the precision work on this piece of wood. One third of the length is rounded and the end of the wooden piece is made spherical. The bottom portion is shaped as a square and the middle one-third is shaped as an octagon (eight sided figure). Thereafter, one should mark the point on a plot where the two diagonals intersect. This is the Nabhi Chakra or Navel Center of Vaastu Purusha. A pit, one and a half feet deep is to be dug in this portion and the Wooden Shanku with the octagon at the top should be buried here. The pit is to be closed with excavated mud and construction should begin only after this is done.
Caution : Copycat Shriparni Products can be dangerous
Remedies are all about energy and every physical object installed in home or work place, be they cures or enhancers, or just placed around for their aesthetics and beauty, MUST give out loving positive energy; they should have been created with the pure motivation to benefit someone or to make someone feel good and happy. This requirement becomes even more important when they are Spiritual Remedies and made with sacred material like Divine Shriparni Wood. Badly made fakes and commercially created copycat products hastily assembled together with cheap raw materials will not be effective at all.
Actually, placing metaphysical energy remedies with ill or bad energy in living space or work space can emanate even more negativity than you realize. And far from overcoming and dissolving afflicted and corrupted energy in your space, they could actually generate more negativity instead, defeating the very purpose itself.
Another note of caution : beware of mock Shriparni Wood products that are available cheaply in the market, especially in the internet. Many of them are either pretentious or made of unfit male Shriparni tree wood – divine energy tools like Yantras and pooja articles should be made ONLY out of female Shriparni tree wood. Similarly, the female Shriparni Tree becomes energy mature only after completion of 12 years of age – but many of them are cut down much earlier because of the huge market demand and commercial considerations. Displaying such spurious products might physically look beautiful but will carry unchecked residual energies that will create more energy blocks and accentuate existing negative energies.
Info on Shriparni Tree Wood / Sevan Tree Wood
The Shriparni Tree is as ancient, as pure and as sacred as the Tulsi and Peepal Tree. Ancient Puranas state that Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi herself is inherently present in the Shriparni Tree. That is why the Shriparni Tree is praised as the Kalpavriksha or Karpaga Viruksham of the Kaliyuga time. Twelve years old Sriparni Wood is believed to be Svayam Siddha (Swayambu) and on completion of the 12th year only it becomes energy-mature. Also Divine Energy Tools such as this (including 2D Yantras and 3D Yantras) should be made only from the Female Shriparni Tree Wood – it is widely accepted that the wood from the Male Shriparni Tree is not suitable for making such sacred products.
The Shriparni Tree belongs to the Botanical Family Gmelina arborea : in Hindi it is called Khumar & Gori Gambhari; in Gujarati Sevan; in Marathi Shivan; in Malayalam Neykumizhu; Adavigummudu in Telugu; Kumbalamara in Kannada; Perumkumbil in Tamil and in English Coomb White Teak. The Ayurvedha classifies it as a Medicinal Plant with properties that pacify vitiated vata, pitta, inflammation, flatulence, malignancy especially leukemia, arthritis and hepato-biliary affections.
